WESTech Celebrated 25 Years in the IT Market with a Grand WEIT 2025 Event
Bratislava, September 19, 2025 – WESTech spol. s r. o., a leading distributor of information technologies in Slovakia, marked its 25th anniversary in the IT sector on Thursday, September 18, 2025, during its traditional September event, WEIT. The 4th annual WEIT Partners’ Day, held at the Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel in Bratislava, had a truly exceptional quarter-century spirit and welcomed more than 250 business partners and technology professionals.
The event was traditionally opened by the CEO of WESTech, Martin Strigač, and by the representative of the event’s main partner, Martin Maštalír, General Manager of Dell Technologies Slovakia.
Panel Discussion: 25 Years in IT
The event opened with a panel discussion on the topic “25 Years in IT”, featuring:
- Mária Bieliková, CEO of KInIT,
- Martin Maštalír, General Manager of Dell Technologies Slovakia,
- Matej Sršeň, CSO & Shareholder of WESTech,
- Ondrej Macko, Editor-in-Chief of the TOUCHIT portal,
- and Martin Strigač, CEO of WESTech Group, who also moderated the discussion.
Together, they reflected on the historical development of technologies, assessed current trends, and outlined a vision for the digital future. The discussion was very well received by attendees, and a full recording is now available on WESTech’s channels.
Technology Highlights and Partners
The event also provided a platform for showcasing the latest IT solutions and products from leading brands. Dell Technologies, DJI, Dreame, HP, Kyocera, Legrand, Lenovo, Samsung, and Synology presented their innovations.
Exhibition booths also featured products from ASUS, Canon, FitStream, Logitech, Mikrotik, Roborock, TCL, Xiaomi, and Zyxel. To add to the experience, a raffle with valuable prizes from event partners enlivened the atmosphere.
Networking and Inspiration
Beyond the professional program, participants enjoyed a pleasant networking environment, delicious catering including gluten-free coffee breaks, and a shared lunch.
